Mark your calendar for August 21, 2021, when Monster Day returns and takes over Downtown Greeley. There will be costumed monsters roaming the plazas, professional makeup demonstrations, vendor booths, food and beverages, monster makeup, face painting, music, kids activities, a costume contest and more! Plus, Distortions Unlimited will have dozens of their creations set up around the plaza ready for your photo ops.
Plus, you’ll get to see Popcicle, Greeley the Gremlin’s newest friend.
Monster Day 2019 will be August 17th in downtown Greeley! 2018 was bigger and better than ever and we can’t wait to share what we have in store for you in 2019. Keep posted!
Don’t Be A Monster is part of Monster Day! They offer unique and entertaining anti-bullying assemblies for students in 4th-10th grade. Our mission is simple: we work to educate and empower youth to be leaders around diversity, inclusiveness, and show them how to stand up for their friends and peers.

Monster Day in Greeley, was recognized by the Downtown Colorado Inc. (DCI) with the 2018 Governor’s Award for Downtown Excellence for best event, festival, or recurring activity.
Pittsburgh-born actor, SFX Make up artist & director Tom Savini talks about Monster Day 2018 with The Greeley Gremlin peaking over his shoulder. We filmed this bit for Monster Day when Tom, along with his crew and family were in Greeley, visiting and taking a tour of the Distortions studio. Ed and Tom filmed a Distortions commercial 40 years ago in which Tom was pursued by an alien. We are all excited for August 18th! Monster Day!
